- Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 3 years.
- Base salary range: $104,243 – $115,661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the opportunity
- Develop algorithms to solve engineering problems in mining geomechanics and contribute to creating mXrap apps based on ACG research while collaborating on the broader development and maintenance of mXrap.
- Work within the mXrap development team to translate research outcomes into practical software tools used in the mining industry.
- Prepare and deliver training and produce supporting training materials.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in computer science / software engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering mathematics and statistics, as well as vector algebra.
- Experience in C++ and the ability to learn new language when required.
- Experience in GIT, JavaScript, SQL, OpenGL, GLSL.
- Experience in QT, Boost, CMake is desirable.
