This is a high-impact role within a Treasury Engineering function where you will build greenfield systems using Java and Spring Boot to manage global liquidity and capital optimization. You will thrive in a "you build it, you run it" culture, leveraging AWS, Kafka, and Kubernetes to solve complex architectural challenges at the heart of enterprise finance.

• *The Role
• Lead the design and evolution of greenfield backend services using Java and Spring Boot within a high-scale event-driven architecture.
• Take full end-to-end ownership of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, platform pipelines, and production operations.
• Utilize Kafka and Flink to build robust data streams for real-time money management and safeguarding requirements.
• Influence strategic technical direction and drive cross-team initiatives without the overhead of people management.
• Optimize cloud-native infrastructure leveraging AWS services including RDS, Aurora, and Kubernetes (EKS).
• *What You'll Need
• Extensive professional experience in backend engineering with a mastery of Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proven track record designing and operating distributed systems using Event-Driven Architecture and Apache Kafka.
• Deep technical expertise in AWS cloud environments, specifically with managed database services like Aurora or RDS.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration and deploying services at scale using Kubernetes.
• A product-focused mindset with the ability to translate complex business context into elegant technical solutions.
