Software Test Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Agile development experience - Ability to support the Product Owner in defining acceptance criteria for user stories - Experience testing REST Architecture using Postman or Bruno - Web Applications UI Testing - Test Automation experience (desirable)

Responsibilities:

- Task estimation in accordance with sprint planning - Design of tests within an agile environment using a test management tool - Design and execution of automated and exploratory tests, particularly in RESTful API environments - Test Web applications - Contribute towards researching, evaluating and managing test automation frameworks - Support Test Readiness and Verification Reviews - Complete test phases independently and within a team environment - Contribute to the Integration and Configuration Management plan

At Certain Advantage, we are hiring for a Software Test Engineer based in the Guildford or Newcastle area. This role is on a contract basis and offers hybrid working. We are a Manufacturing business operating in the Aerospace sector, designing, manufacturing, and delivering industry-leading commercial aircraft, alongside a Space and Defence division.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of circa £70ph via an umbrella company, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for training and development.
