- Proven experience in SQL Server database development, administration, and maintenance, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL scripting, functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS).
- Knowledge of database security, automation, and backup/recovery procedures.
- Ability to translate high-level business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Relevant certifications or advanced training in SQL Server technologies are desirable.
- *Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement technical data solutions based on business needs and industry standards.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and specifications to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, recommending necessary changes for efficiency and security.
- Support operational database procedures, including upgrades, backups, recovery, and migrations to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Provide technical support for routine database tasks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Mentor and coach team members on best practices, technical skills, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, third-party vendors, and team members to ensure seamless project execution and data integration.
- Maintain awareness of business continuity principles and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
- Uphold data protection policies and ensure compliance with relevant data security standards.
