Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a SQL Developer. The SQL Developer will design, develop, and optimize SQL databases and queries to support business applications and analytics. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining database structures, implementing and monitoring ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity and performance across environments.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, translating them into efficient data models and database solutions, and troubleshooting data-related issues. The SQL Developer will also contribute to documentation, support deployment activities, and follow best practices for security, compliance, and version control.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Database Development and Database Design to create, maintain, and optimize relational database systems.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Data Modeling to support robust data pipelines and structured data architectures.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, diagnose performance issues, and improve data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in SQL (e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL), performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization is highly beneficial.
• Experience with major database platforms (such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and version control tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with BI tools, data warehousing concepts, and cloud data services (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate effectively with distributed teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
