Requirements
Must have:
- 5+ years SQL Server development experience - Strong T-SQL and performance tuning skills - Solid database design knowledge - Experience managing changes across environments - Strong problem-solving ability - Experience working with application teams - Exposure to high-availability environments - Familiarity with deployment and version control tools
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimise database solutions that support business-critical systems - Develop and maintain high-quality T-SQL procedures, views, functions, and indexes - Diagnose and fix performance issues using execution plans and query tuning - Optimise transactional systems, reporting, and integrations - Support structured database changes across Dev, Test, and Production - Work with release and CI processes to deliver safe, reliable deployments - Troubleshoot complex data and performance issues - Help improve database standards and practices
