Requirements
Must have:
- Strong commercial experience developing Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience writing and optimising complex SQL queries, stored procedures and views.
- Experience with Microsoft Access and VBA development.
- Experience with C# development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting business applications in a commercial environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision.
- Advantageous: experience with document management or electronic signature platforms such as Adobe eSign.
- Advantageous: knowledge of system integration or process automation.
- Advantageous: experience working within a small IT team where flexibility and collaboration are important.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views and reporting solutions.
- Enhance and support Microsoft Access applications and VBA functionality.
- Investigate and resolve database, application and data-related issues.
- Design and implement improvements to database performance, reliability and efficiency.
- Work directly with users to understand business requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.
- Support business-critical applications and resolve technical issues when required.
- Contribute to system upgrades, integrations and ongoing technology improvement projects.
- Produce clear technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.
