Senior UI React / Java Developer | £750 - £1,000

We're working with a prestigious international investment bank in the City of London on this exciting greenfield opportunity. This is a high-impact role for a battle-tested developer to architect a brand-new, front-office e-trading application from the ground up.

We are seeking a heavyweight UI specialist who isn't afraid to dive into Java data feeds and low-latency architecture. You will be the technical driving force behind the Triforce Credit Project, transforming complex RFQ workflows into high-performance trading interfaces using React, TypeScript, and AG Grid.

The Role

• Lead the front-end development for a brand-new global e-trading platform, ensuring high performance and seamless user experience for traders.
• Architect and build complex UIs using React and AG Grid, specifically designed for high-frequency Fixed Income and Credit trading environments.
• Bridge the gap between front-end and back-end by working directly with Java-based data feeds and real-time streaming services.
• Design and implement sophisticated RFQ (Request for Quote) workflows and trading lifecycle features within a front-office environment.
• Act as the technical execution lead for the UI, collaborating with other senior stakeholders to deliver a robust greenfield product.

What You'll Need

• 10 years of expert-level experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a deep mastery of the React ecosystem and Redux.
• 5 years of Java backend experience, specifically focused on data integration and feed management for UI consumption.
• Extensive experience in Front Office Investment Banking, with a deep understanding of Fixed Income, Sales & Trading, and low-latency software.
• Proven track record of delivering greenfield projects and building high-performance tables/grids using AG Grid.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end trading lifecycle, including risk platforms and sales-to-trader communication flows.
