- Understanding the importance of web design, including the choices made such as typography, cooler designs, and even layout.
- Creating a plan on how websites should be structured by highlighting things such as Content page, About Me Page and Home Page
- Analyzing the difference between a well-created website, and a poorly developed website by comparing both websites side by side
- Grasping how user experience has a significant impact on websites and how implementing things such as improvements can further help your website.
- Developing significant skills such as critical thinking skills, teamwork, and communication by solving challenges and problems
- Taking part in suggestions on how to improve the usability of a website
- Helping others gain an understanding of accessibility expectations, such as readable fonts, zoom in and out features.
Trainee Tech - BBC

As a Trainee Tech, here are my role and responsibilities:
- Spoke with multiple BBC staff members, asking multiple questions about opportunities, career paths and responsibilities working with the BBC.
- Understood how, behind the scenes, testers would document and speak with developers about their concerns.
- Finished a software testing workshop, understanding bugs and errors that can affect crucial things such as the navigation bar, layout of a website and how the website functions.
- Took on the fundamentals of what a Software Tester, Project Manager, and Software Engineer must do within their field.
- Participated in a software engineering workshop, including things such as coding challenges and problem solving, created by BCC software developers.
Virtual Data Trainee - Digital Skills: Data Analysis and Storytelling

- Understanding how Amazon analyzes data and finds ways to improve their experience with customers.
- Trying out challenges, turning raw data into a simple and concise story to help with understanding

- Communication with mentors who shared their advice about the work industry and potential careers to choose from
- Increase my communication skills through discussions with peers and activities.
- Networked with tech professionals on LinkedIn to build connections and gain help during my journey choosing a path.
- Learned about multiple career paths that can be chosen at Microsoft, such as Security Engineer, Cloud Network Engineer, and Principal Security Engineer
- Attended the full 2-hour virtual session. which truly helped me to pursue an education within the field of technology.
