Working with UI/UX to develop a Design System to enable the reuse of common components, to help provide a common look and feel across different platforms and sites and to aid the development of accessible components.
Leading the drive for accessible solutions in the department. This includes working with the UI/UX teams, writing automated tests using Puppeteer and Pa11y, performing manual reviews with the Axe tools and mentioning less experienced team members. This resulted in products being reached WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
