Thanks to my time spent at Ice Locker, I am trained to use many pieces of equipment that are vital to the industry's flourishment such as every type of skate sharpener easily accessed in the UK; this allows me to ensure quality no matter what equipment I have to hand.
With this training I was also trained how to properly mount ice skate blades both hockey and figure blades. This is imperative as if the most vital piece of equipment is improperly attached there would be unnecessary injuries.
Warehouse Operative at Buy It Direct (2021-01 – 2021-10)
While at Buy it Direct, I learned how to use their picking scanners and software and how to plan a route to pick all required items within a good time. I was a picker and unloader when new deliveries came in. After a few weeks I was able to learn the skills of my team along with the best ways to use all my teams' skills to ensure that the unload was done in the fastest times possible.
