2016 - 2021: Bar/Restaurant Supervisor: Grosvenor Hotel
Working at the Grosvenor hotel for 5 years, I started as a barman and waiter and then progressed into becoming a supervisor. My duties were to serve customers food and drink, organise deliveries and stock every 3 days, and always ensure the bar and restaurant area were clean, tidy and ready for incoming customers. I would always make sure shelves were stocked and kept a list of the stock which the restaurant was running low on and always briefed the manager at the end of the shift to ensure those products were ordered for the following delivery.
I was always considered to be very trustworthy and reliable by my manager as I would often cover shifts, do all shifts I was asked to do and lock up and open the restaurant on various days of the week. I also would also cash up tills at the end of the night. I was a very organised member of staff where I would organise all bookings (especially on busy days/nights) and have a structured plan where I would ensure that the restaurant (especially during busy periods) runs smoothly.
Over the years working at the Grosvenor as a barman, Waiter and supervisor, I developed many excellent skills such as communication, organisation, attention to detail and more.
