The modules that I have learnt during the three years has allowed me to understand the impact of business on a personal level. Such insights as well as how to deal with clients has enabled me to acknowledge how differently sized businesses are managed and maintained in the real world. It is this ‘real world’ element that now drives my pursuit to learn more about accounting, in the hopes to utilise what I have learned to benefit others.
In addition to this, I’m looking for internships to further my knowledge, discoveries and new experiences, as my studies and experience have not yet satisfied my quest for knowledge in this sector.
Accounting to me is an asset to help businesses on a macroscale and individuals on a micro scale. What interests me however is the middle ground, the area of accountancy that lies in the interpersonal boundary, unifying business and individual. The curiosity to learn about this territory of accountancy is what sparked my interest to pursue further education in the field.
I am a last-year student pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and management at Queen Mary University of London.
