Volunteered in a food bank for a charity for 6 months. The organization's goals include building a community where minorities are valued through youth activities, mental health support, and providing hot meals from their food bank. My time spent in the nonprofit organization taught me the value of the community that I come from.
I learned that a community is supposed to provide support and a sense of belonging. It helps people understand different perspectives and contributes to society as a whole.

Worked for a Somali nonprofit Art institution. The Goal of the Organisation is to create a platform to present African History, Art and Heritages.
