I am a Master of Science student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester. I want to use the skills I gained during my university experience to bring meaningful value to a company. My skills include software proficiency, analytical thinking, problem-solving, lean manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and strong interpersonal abilities.
I was the Head of Logistics for the Sri Lankan Society at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. My team consisted of 8 committee members and coordinated a society of 70 members. I had to manage the money going in and out of the society while holding numerous collaborative events with diverse societies. It was a successful year of growth, as we achieved a 40% increase in society memberships.
