Tutor @ The Minaret Community Centre

• I worked as a tutor teaching English and Mathematics to up to groups of 6 children between the ages of 7 and 16. I also taught GCSE Biology, Physics and Chemistry to older students.
• I helped the tutees with any homework they had or revising tricky topics for their upcoming exams such as SATs or GCSEs.
• I came early to set up the necessary books and revision tools tailored to each student and then went through tricky topics with each student before moving all the students to one collective task.
• Gained experience on how to divide my time effectively between students as well as gaining increased level of patience and communication skills. I was able to simultaneously keep more disruptive students in check without hindering the learning experience of others.
