I am a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Bio Systems Engineering, specializing in Food Processing Engineering. My academic and professional journey has equipped me with hands-on experience in quality assurance, food safety audits, and agricultural technology integration. Through internships at Knowledge Mag Certifications Pvt Ltd and ICTA Sri Lanka, I have gained expertise in ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP compliance, and the implementation of digital solutions for the agricultural sector.
I am passionate about leveraging my skills and knowledge to contribute to quality assurance, food safety, and technological innovation in the food industry.
I have gained valuable professional experience through internships at Knowledge Mag Certifications Pvt Ltd and ICTA Sri Lanka.
Mag, I conducted ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP audits for food manufacturing facilities, prepared detailed audit reports, identified and resolved non-conformities, and implemented risk assessments and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. At ICTA, as part of the Technology Diffusion Team, I contributed to the Digitization Agriculture Transformation (IDAT) initiative, assisting in data collection, statistical analysis, and the development of digital strategies to modernize agricultural practices. These experiences have honed my expertise in quality assurance, food safety, and the integration of technology in agricultural and food sectors.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Bio Systems Engineering with a specialization in Food Processing Engineering from SLTC Research University. My coursework included Food Safety Management, Risk Assessment, Post-Harvest Technology, and Quality Control Methods, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of food processing and quality assurance. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Food Science at the Open University of Sri Lanka to deepen my expertise in food safety, ISO standards, and quality control methodologies.
