Abigail Brown

My name is Abi and I am looking for an opportunity to start my career with animals in any form. I have excellent time management skills, great communication and a desire to use my kindness to improve the lives of others (both humans and pets)! I love a challenge and outside of work and spend my spare time cheerleading and caring for animals of my own.

My current experience is personal, but I am looking to turn this into a career.

For my whole life I have cared for pets of my own including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. I have also assisted close family members by helping them to care for their rats and have experience bonding new animals. Dogs which I have cared for have included those with fears of humans and other dogs so I am confident handling them across many different contexts.

Alongside learning from my personal experience, I have studied areas of animal psychology as part of my BSc Psychology degree which I am currently completing alongside part time work. The main focus of this work was differentiating how animal brains and human brains are different to establish how their thought processes are different.
