I am an experienced Bookkeeper and Finance Professional with over 20 years of experience supporting SMEs, start-ups, consultancy businesses and other organisations with accurate and reliable financial record keeping.
I provide hands-on bookkeeping support including bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, expense processing, VAT returns, payroll support, management accounts and month-end reporting.
I am experienced with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent and Microsoft Excel and am comfortable working with cloud-based accounting systems and digital financial records. I also have experience supporting businesses with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements and maintaining accurate records for VAT and financial reporting purposes.
Having worked independently with multiple clients, I understand the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, deadlines and clear communication. I am comfortable managing several client accounts simultaneously and working remotely with minimal supervision.

My experience includes maintaining sales and purchase ledgers, processing income and expenses, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, VAT returns, payroll support, management accounts, cash-flow reporting and month-end reconciliations.
As an Independent Accounting Consultant, I have managed bookkeeping and financial records for multiple clients simultaneously, preparing VAT returns, maintaining ledgers, monitoring debtors and creditors, processing payments and preparing management accounts and financial reports.
I have also helped small businesses move from manual bookkeeping to digital accounting systems and have experience setting up and working with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, FreeAgent and Excel-based accounting solutions.
I am comfortable working remotely and independently, managing multiple deadlines and communicating directly with clients to resolve queries and maintain accurate financial records.
