- Observing a trial of an asylum seeker, who survived torture, seeking protection in the United Kingdom. He was the appellant in the trial who was appealing his denial for protection.
- Asking questions for the judge to ask the applicant, such as getting to know more facts and applying laws such as Article 8 of the European Convention and the 2022 Rwanda Bill.
