We are responsible for delivering drinks orders to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Before we depart the yard, myself and the driver ensure safety curtains are covering customer orders, checking job sheets for the area we are heading to.
Whilst out on the road, we have different tasks to complete for each customer. These can consist of collecting empty kegs and old pallets left on site previously, delivering new kegs and stock and loading them into the cellar ensuring they are positioned safely so they are not a hazard. I am responsible for informing customers by phone of any issues or delays whilst on route.
If there are any issues on site, I will follow the correct procedures to log and report this to our main office. On return to the yard, I complete paperwork and administration tasks and unload the HGV.
