• Within one month, absorbed responsibilities originally split across two interim roles.

• Reconciled sensitive investment data to audit standard during post-audit remediation at an FCA-regulated asset manager; strengthened review controls and contributed to a 40% faster close.

• Built reconciliation and control reporting for Disney+ Latin America, validating 550,000 high-volume subscription transaction items across multiple territories.

Finance Manager, Treasury at The Royal British Legion (2015-08 – 2021-06)

Major national charity with four legal entities and £165m of total funds; promoted three times in six years.

• Created the central treasury function across four legal entities, covering liquidity, banking, controls and a c.£150m investment portfolio, with reporting to the Finance Director, Directors and Trustees.
• Led teams of up to eight across treasury, receivables and payables; owned divisional P&L, budgets, reforecasts, VAT and Gift Aid controls and payroll approvals, and recovered £12.5m of restricted funding.
• Built multi-horizon cash forecasting, an FD-approved deposit schedule and a Lloyds sweep across 30+ accounts, generating £254k in recurring interest.
• Reduced 11,000 unreconciled items to 168 in ten weeks by finding and fixing upstream causes; the routine held after handover.
