Since leaving school I have carried out a two year vocationally related apprenticeship in Engineering and Technology (electrical) at TTE Technical Training Group, I spent my third year of training on site with BPI Polythene. Unfortunately, due to the recession the company was shut down and I was unable to complete my apprenticeship. Following this I spent my time travelling around the world, working in both Australia and New Zealand, gaining valuable experience both academically and practically.
After returning home i have worked for PD Ports as a charger driver/reach stacker operator for the last 4 years where I have also gained experience driving large heavy cargo onto the cargo ships. I enjoy working as part of a team but I also take responsibility for my own work load. I thrive in environments with hands-on experiences and always use my initiative to complete given tasks.
