My name is Adefunke Atanda. I have a BSc/Ed in Mathematics, a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science, and currently rounding up my MSc in Data Science and Analytics.
In my previous role as IT Security and Data Analyst with LM Ericsson, I have proven experience in effectively leveraging data to drive business success by using my data analytical skills, and staying up to date with emerging technologies in identifying opportunities for improvement and making data-driven decisions that helped the organization achieve targeted goals. I leveraged my expertise to conduct in-depth data analysis to support the business in decision-making, including pricing strategies, product development, and operational efficiency, while utilizing statistical tools to perform detailed analyses of key trends and evaluated findings. Furthermore, I implemented ETL (Extraction Transform Load) process to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources to conduct data modeling and schema design to support the business needs.
My experience in 1st line support at the service desk for users’ IT issues both online and face-to-face by taking them through the process and proffering solutions to them make me a good fit for this role. I have proficiency in software installation like Office 365, use of MS suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), MS Teams Zoom, and Skype for Business. All these are done with a high level of confidentiality and data protection for all users.
I am proficient in the use of record retention automated systems for storing and retrieval of documents and data with a high level of confidentiality and data security.
My master’s in data science and Analytics at the University of Hertfordshire has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental statistical concepts involved in data science and the implementation of algorithms and machine learning techniques to identify and solve various data processing and business analytical problems. I am confident I will make an immediate and lasting contribution to your team based on my skills, experiences, and knowledge.
With a broad range of proficiencies in data analytical tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, Power BI, R Studio, Weka, and MATLAB, my solid technical aptitude and vital data analytical skills position me ready to thrive in this role. Over the years, I have developed my interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and this has helped me to liaise with people successfully.
In addition, as a meticulous individual with a passion for excellence, my proven talents in developing initiatives and possessing a broad knowledge of relevant technical skills will make me have a significant impact in your organization.
