Adnan Aidarus

Masters graduate in mechanical engineering currently working as a plant operations Personal Info engineer in the oldest running power station in Europe. I have had the unique opportunity to learn how a plant coming to its end of life cycle is efficiently operated with minimal automation and daily reactive maintenance to maintain performance as we gear towards decommissioning. This has allowed me to witness rare events such as emergency turbine shutdowns, new turbine commissioning, boiler outages, and even total plant emergency shutdowns.

I am now seeking a challenging role in the same field with opportunities for personal and professional growth, as I look to build a future for myself in the UAE.

Since Graduation I have been working as a plant operator at an Energy from Waste power station based in London, which is due to be decommissioned in 2028. My goal is to work in a similar field but in the UAE, where I wish to permanently reside.
