Having recently transitioned from a role at a steelworks company, I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences in a new and challenging environment. My time in the steel industry has equipped me with a strong understanding of operational processes, safety protocols, and teamwork in high-pressure situations. I have developed a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality, which I believe are essential in any role.

I am a hard-working positive individual, who is pragmatic and detail-orientated with strong planning and problem-solving skills, I am good at prioritizing tasks to deliver quality outcomes. Great communication skills, working well as a team member, or on an individual basis. I see every task as a challenge and complete it to the best of my ability.

I have an outgoing personality, which helps when settling into a new working environment.

• Operating various cranes.
• Operating fork trucks.
• Health & Safety-Making sure I am aware of any risks that the workplace poses, and to undertake adequate risk assessments, to ensure the right safety controls are in place.
• I have worked on the Caster, where a machine controls the flow of liquid steel into a copper mold, this is a dangerous job, where attention to detail is paramount.
• I'm currently working in Slab control, again many machines are used, delegating slabs around the works, this must be error free with no scope for any negligence, or the coding and slabs will be out of sync.

• Operating a Roll Grinding machine, which would grind the rolls smooth, and to the exact size needed by Tata Steel.
• Operating a Milling machine to remove material, on either a flat or irregular shaped surfaces.

• Operated a chop saw, to cut metal blocks into various sizes.
• Operated crane & fork trucks.
• Had 8 months driving 7.5T long flatbed lorry for engineering company

• Electricians Mate, I worked alongside an Electrician to support the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Help with the glanding & termination of cables, which are the integral component of various systems.
