Site Manager - Gayhurst School

Gayhurst School is an independent Co-Educational Preparatory School for Girls and Boys aged 3 to 11. Pupil intake is up to 350 and the single site school comprises a range of pre twentieth century buildings and 6 Acres of grounds. Reporting to the Bursar responsible for the smooth running and general maintenance of the school and its grounds.

• Carried out general maintenance and upkeep to the fabric of the school, building and grounds
• Ensured classrooms and equipment were set up to meet teaching requirements and the school was clean and welcoming, this included suggesting new initiatives to improve visual presentation and cleanliness
• Used cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior of the building looking clean and professional ensuring appropriate procedures were followed
• Arranged quotations for specialist works in and around the school, liaising with relevant contractors
