I assist the Managing QS with the preparation, maintaining and processing of financial and project transactions. Assisting in compiling all necessary reports and schedules as required. Undertaking all general commercial administrative duties, including filing, emails and correspondence.
Managing and analysing project variations, including any claims for loss and expense. Assisting with carrying out interim valuations; value completed works and applying for payments. Assisting in providing accurate, real-time, monthly reports (Cost Value Reconciliations) and final outcome forecasts.
Assisting with analysis of project costs and preparation of monthly cost reports and commentary for any variance. I attend meetings onsite or elsewhere with the site teams, clients, suppliers, and other parties as required. I liaise with all levels of the construction and professional team, including clients.
I use systems and processes, allowing effective measurement of commercial performance, and support the Commercial and Sales team with admin tasks and ad-hoc duties.
Started first year if Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management degree in Nottingham Trent University and passed. My current employer is funding my education
