Intern Software Engineer at Verint Systems (2025-07 – Present)

Interned across two teams — Warriors (Cloud Record) and EDM DevOps — splitting time between product engineering and platform/DevOps work.

• Worked on Verint Cloud Record's mixed C and Go codebase: refactored legacy functions, fixed bugs, and cleaned up code paths that had drifted over time, making the codebase easier to maintain.
• Built and maintained deployment pipelines in Harness, shipping releases across Kubernetes, OKD, and OpenShift clusters.
• Built a NATS Backup Manager — tooling that automated backup workflows for the team's distributed messaging setup, replacing manual steps that were eating engineer time.
• Improved CI/CD workflows, deployment templates, and config logic to make releases more consistent and less prone to environment-specific breakage.
• Hands-on stack: Go, C, Docker, OpenShift, OKD, Apache Kafka, Hydra, Jinja, AWS, Azure.
• Day-to-day tools: Datadog for monitoring, Jira and Confluence for tracking and docs, Black Duck and Coverity for dependency scans and code quality checks.
• Worked alongside engineers across both teams, picking up how production-grade enterprise software actually gets built, reviewed, and shipped.

Developer – AIO (All In One Authenticator) at Chettinad Harishree Vidyalam (2020-02 – 2022-09)

• Spearheaded the development of web-based authentication software tailored for virtual conferences, ensuring fortified access for over 350 participants amidst the challenging pandemic years of 2020 to 2022, serving the needs of our educational institution.
• Unearthed and promptly rectified a critical security loophole within the Zoom application, significantly elevating the overall security standards of virtual gatherings.
• Collaborating with representatives from partner organizations such as charities, councils, or social enterprises, while overseeing and guiding student teams of up to 8 members.
• In compliance with conference mandates stipulating exclusive access for participants and faculty members, fortified measures were implemented to deter external entities and unwanted intrusions.
• Engineered and deployed a bespoke web-based authentication platform to fulfill stringent security requisites, thereby guaranteeing impregnable sanctity to the virtual meetings, bolstering user confidence and trust.
