Ahmed is a highly qualified operations management professional with 22 years of international experience within fast paced manufacturing, datacentres and Healthcare sector. He comes from a technical background and his philosophy of leadership is in standardisation, motivating and empowering his team to exceed their abilities, simplify and invent. Ahmed’s greatest strengths are attention for details, diving deep into root causes and insisting on highest standards while maintaining focus on delivery.
Over past six years, his leadership assisted a large public sector employer transforming service delivery, turning traditional perceptions of how change and improvement is delivered across the NHS on its head via a newly established wholly subsidiary FM ltd company. He is currently looking to work for a growing and winning organisation that will allow him the chance of being able to influence the strategic modelling, formation and implementation of new ideas to ensure delivery of essential services, providing the flexibility for his team to be creative and highly responsive, tools which are required to deliver the highest standards of operational performance, compliance and commercial efficiency. Ahmed is currently acting the role of two directors and member of board for both RoyalFree London Foundation trust and Whittington Health NHS trust, a unique experience that is a testimony on its own for Ahmed’s strong leadership and ability to multi-task leading two large in-house hard and soft FM teams totalling circa 2000 staff across the two NHS trusts.
