Aidan Ryan

My name is Aidan Ryan and I have been someone that has been involved in sports my whole life. I have played basketball since I could walk. I continued my basketball career there high school and even into college my freshman year at bridgewater state university.

But I wasn’t just a basketball player I was a softball and field hockey player. I did the last three years of college playing field hockey. Sports have always been a passion of mine with one of my dream jobs as a kid being a sports analyst or sports broadcaster.

But after college I followed what a majored in leaving my dream behind. But since working in a social work field I keep finding myself pulled back to sports and wanting to follow that passion.

I currently work with Department of children and families where I am a social worker working with families. I assess risk and work with families in connecting with their community and ensuring I have a positive relationship with community resources my self to help others.

I have also worked in dispatching within Framingham police department where I had to quickly learn how to talk to people of all backgrounds in a time in there life that could be considered the worse day of there life.

Bridgewater state university - bachelors in criminal justice with minor in psychology. Graduated in May 2022.

Salem state university- masters in criminal justice. Graduated in May of 2024.

I have received awards in sports through high school and college. I was invited to the central mass all stars best of home team banquet as one of the top 80 athletes. I received student athlete of the month for MIAA in 2018. I participated in a leadership conference for college athletes in sports.
