After leaving college in 2017 I secured one of 11 sponsored degrees at a leading blue chip pharmaceutical company. I spent 5 years working as a Quality Control technician carrying out various testing techniques on a number of drugs. This included ID by IR, manual/auto dissolution & HPLC.
As I became more interested into the production of a cancer drug which was manufactured on-site I decided on a career change & became a plant operative where I work in a sterile environment carrying out one of many steps in the manufacturing process. This career change allowed me to gain the knowledge & in depth understanding on the drug. I have gained crucial industry specific techniques including right first time working, vital sterile behaviours, SHE, COSHH, GMP & GLP.
A broad range of analytical testing techniques (ID by IR, HPLC, manual/auto dissolution, actives/degs)
