Akhil Saju

I am a motivated and hardworking postgraduate student at Sheffield Hallam University, currently pursuing an MSc in International Hospitality and Tourism Management. With a background in Civil Engineering and hands-on experience in both administrative and warehouse roles, I bring a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a detail-oriented mindset to every task. I have several years of experience working as an overseer, warehouse helper, and driver, which has strengthened my ability to operate efficiently in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively within a team.

I am now seeking a part-time warehouse position where I can contribute my skills while continuing my academic journey in the UK.

I am a dedicated and versatile professional with over 6 years of experience spanning warehouse operations, site supervision, and goods transportation. My background includes working as an Overseer in a government office, where I was responsible for inspections, audits, and maintaining accurate records. I also have hands-on experience as a warehouse helper, managing packing, unloading, and storage of goods, particularly in the cardamom trade.

Additionally, I worked as a weekend driver, safely transporting goods and adhering to delivery schedules. My strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments make me a valuable asset to any team.

I am currently enrolled in the MSc International Hospitality and Tourism Management program at Sheffield Hallam University, starting January 2025. This postgraduate course enhances my understanding of global service industries and strengthens my leadership and management skills. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, where I graduated with First Class honors.

My academic background reflects a strong foundation in analytical thinking, project management, and technical knowledge—all of which complement my practical work experience.
