Disaster Information Management Officer, Yemen Red Crescent Society (YRCS)May 2018 – Aug 2018

• Initiate databases and information sharing systems on the hazards, risks, response and resources, and provide technical support to the branches and headquarter as required.
• Ensure the database and information sharing mechanism in the branch, headquarter and the IFRC will remain functional.
• Gather information through secondary sources and support the YRCS and the IFRC to informed decisions.
• Identify additional data/analysis/information needs to support decision-making and establish additional data collection/processing if required.
• Liaise with the Information Management team in IFRC, MENA IM staff, to better align and coordinate the Movement’s approach to DM/DRR and to communicate relevant operational decision-making information.
• Train branch and headquarter level staff and volunteers on information management and services

• Dealing with confidential information.
• Performs report organizational duties, backup of security biometric records, filing and clerical tasks under the supervision of the project director and site security manager. 
• Coordinates all electronic drawings and or photographic documentation for the project. 
• Serves as the focal point in regards all OBO/NOX digital project mechanisms. 
• Serves as the point of contact for IT questions or problems for the office. 
• Serves as the supervisor and dispatcher in regards to other drivers. This includes scheduling, safety training, approving all overtime and leave. 
• Maintains monthly tracking reports, manhours, and reimbursable overtime hours.
