Warehouse Operative - DHL - Runcorn

My main duties within working in a cargo warehouse receiving inbound parcels by managing the movements through the warehouse and allocating them to the correct postal codes ready for the delivery couriers to scan and the help of loading there packages to there vehicles ready for delivery to the customers and business.
Production Operative/packer - Amazon - Warrington

My main duties within Amazon were within the packaging team where I had to securely and correctly package parcels ensuring that I stuck to the 220 parcels per hour that had to leave my work station. This included identifying the correct packaging, packing product and securing before completing the correct procedures on the internal systems to ensure the parcel went to the correct distribution area. I also assisted with managing picking reports and helped to quickly and accurately obtain items from the warehouse ensuring that they were passed to the correct areas for packaging within the extremely tight turnaround times we had to adhere to especially on Prime delivery.
Order Picker - DHL - Preston Brook

Managing picking reports I ensure I quickly and accurately obtain items from the large warehouse and an extensive range of items, ensuring that they are passed through for delivery correctly and all paperwork completed and submitted to the appropriate persons. The role also includes ensuring that the correct reports are completed and submitted in respect of replenishment of stock. I will also assist in the packaging and distribution of packages when required.
I use both manual order picking instructions and headsets and frequently use llop trucks.
Quality Control Inspector - Aktrion Automotive - Liverpool

I worked for the above company switching between automotive inspector roles in Johnson Controls and Jaguar. My duties included carrying out extensive checks on various car parts and accessories ensuring that they are completed to the specifications required. This included following high level instructions and plans to ensure the items were correct, completing paperwork to confirm all checks made and report data from my finding and sending items back for rework when they are deemed unacceptable.

Labourer - Hall & Roberts - Widnes

I worked on an extremely busy production line, preparing and packing food supplies ready for distribution. All work had to be done using strict health & safety regulations within a short space of time. The role included me efficiently wrapping, packing and loading heavy packages onto pallets ready distribution., stacking pallets to assist the delivery drivers and loading and unloading the vehicles.
This role included being able to work under pressure due to the time restrictions in place to keep within regulations and ensuring production kept going at all times throughout the shift.
Labourer - D.R Jones - Exeter

This role involved me working with local tradesmen repairing Council properties. My main duties included setting up the site each day with required tools and materials, preparing materials required for that day. Loading and unloading heavy materials delivered to the various sites, assisting with the installation of scaffolding, and ensuring that the site was clean and tidy after each working day.
A great deal of my job also involved driving to and from different sites making sure all tradesmen had the materials required and if not preparing the appropriate orders required for the forthcoming days and making sure everyone's expectations were managed effectively in order that a productive day was achieved. I was also responsible for ensuring that all site vehicles were kept clean & tidy at all times.
Labourer - S.I Construction - Torquay

After moving down South I worked as a Labourer for a local tradesman. My main duties included assisting with mixing mortar/concrete, fetching, carrying and loading materials, stock control, ensuring all relevant material and tools were allocated to the appropriate person and job each day loading their vehicles and also that all sites were kept clear and tidy at all times disposing of access materials, this included a great deal of manual and heavy labour as well as coordination.

After leaving school this role took me to various locations across the UK. I was a Labourer for the tradesmen of the company who worked on various buildings and my main duties included the loading and unloading of heavy materials and assisting with carrying out repairs on concrete buildings and paving's.
