I have 16 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and I consider myself an organized, hardworking, and efficient person who prides himself on being reliable and able to deliver tasks in a timeous manner. I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can quickly pick up, apply new skills, and easily adapt to new working environments.

My expertise has come from working for General/Main contractors for the last 16 years at various stages in my career.

From this, I have then worked for PQS firms providing takeoff services, schedules of values with drawing markups, civils and highway schedule works.

For General Contractors, I have worked for those whose turnovers exceed £30m ($51m CAD) where I would be employed as a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager overseeing projects from start to finish.

In a freelance capacity, I have provided commercial management duties working on freeway/highway upgrades for siteworks contractors, assisting them with utility roll-outs across Scotland.

I have also provided commercial management services to contractors specializing in Mechanical and Ventilation Works, Stucco, Scaffolding, and Plumbing & Heating.

I graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying in 2012. I am due to sit my APC in Spring 2024 to achieve MRICS status.
