A very caring, organised and approachable individual. I have a very strong interest in IT, which has been an ongoing interest for the last 5 years. I would like to work in a field that involves my IT skills. I would also like to work in a career that involves mechanics, as one of my other interests is in vehicles.

Train Planner & Customer Service - South Western Railway

Spent 2 days with the Train Planning team receiving training on operations, creating timetables, platform graphs and shadowing
Spent 1 day with Customer Service including walk arounds, platform operations, ticket office shadowing, 2 hours on the gate line and time in station control
Spent 1 further day with the Train Planning team visiting the main control office, attending a meeting and spending time in the main operations room

Deck Rating / Tech / Fitter - Serco

Spent time driving boats
Welded pieces of sheet metal in the workshop, learning welding for the first time
Spent a day with the fitters working on engines, taking apart a 2-stroke engine, learning each component and reassembling it
