I am a friendly reliable, organised and hardworking 16-year-old looking for my first job in retail or hospitality. I am practical, confident communicating with others and able to work independently. I learn new tasks quickly, have good computer skills and am keen to gain work experience and develop new skills as part of a team.
Work Experience - Hairdressing Salon
Welcomed customers into the salon and helped create a friendly environment. Offered and prepared drinks for customers and helped staff by keeping the salon clean and tidy. This experience developed my confidence communicating with customers and working as part of a busy workplace, whilst also giving me the opportunity to learn a new skill.
Supporting an elderly family member
Provided practical support to my great-grandmother, including accompanying her on shopping trips, helping her safely get in and out of vehicles, cleaning her flat and supporting her with changing clothes when required. This developed my patience, responsibility, communication skills and awareness of other people's needs.
