Alex Brook

I am 18 years of age and have just finished school in the UK. I am looking for seasonal work in a ski resort, and am open to various roles from hospitality to retail to other sectors, and am already in possession of an IEC visa as well as the Serving it Right certification. I am available to start work in late November/early December.

I am a very active person, participating in various sports such as rugby throughout my life. This makes me suitable for physically demanding jobs as well as those which require being on your feet for extended periods of time. On top of this, I am a hard-working and polite person who can also work well in a team environment.

Work Experience:

• The Old Plough, Cobham and Stoke D’Abernon (July 2023-present)
  • Provided seamless service to upwards of 50 tables in a fast-paced environment, carrying up to three full plates from the kitchen to tables.
  • Had experience as a bartender with a baseline knowledge of cocktails and wine. 
  • Also gained experience as a waiter, taking food and drink orders from tables. 

Volunteer experience:

• Blackheath Cricket Club (April 2019-August 2022)
  • Coached large groups of children of varying ages in cricket. 
  • Helped the maintenance team when required. 
  • Served food and drink in the clubhouse.
