Started working through an employment agency. Main duties were picking customers orders using handheld scanners correctly and efficiently. Also tried out the operating machine which was to prepare customers orders for shipping, making sure the orders were full and correctly picked, sticking labels and packing.
Picker/Packer - Covermount Solutions LTD

Main duties were to pick/pack toys and products from the benches. Had to have good attention to detail as some toys or products were faulty and couldn't be sent to customers. Also had to use a pump truck to sort bins and help with tidying up at the end of the shift. Was offered a permanent contract and accepted but resigned after working on permanent bases for 4 weeks.
PPT Electric Pallet Track Assistant - Sun Magic Juices

Initially role was to stay on the line and pack bottles of different types of juices at a fast but accurate pace. After three months promoted to full time worker and offered position as PPT electric pallet track assistant where main duties were to bring pallets in, check how many cases of packed bottles are stacked on a pallet, complete the required paperwork and make sure that all pallets are correctly labelled with the correct pallet headers.
Assembly and Packing Worker - DS Smith

Main duties included gluing components together to assemble cardboard display units, packing them into outers ready for dispatch, strapping and wrapping pallets and having a good eye on every detail. Started through an agency and left as work went quiet and they didn't require agency workers anymore.
Machine Operator - Mediclean

Main duties were working by the machine which included folding up the hospital laundry, feeding the laundry into the ironing machine and bringing new cages to colleagues.
Car Wash Attendant - Morrisons Hand Car Wash

Part time job as a college student. Provided basic but useful cleaning, team work and customer service skills that helped adapt quickly in other industries.
