Working at local events/festivals as part of a stewarding team that took part in site builds, ticket scanning, traffic stewarding and litter picking.

• Communication – working as a team with senior members of staff e.g. site manager and event organiser has improved ability to communicate clearly with colleagues in high pressure situations

Provided support to the accounts manager through shadowing and learning on job whilst further assisting with the accuracy of data entry. Taught the importance of accuracy in this industry with high attention to detail required.

Food & Beverage Assistant at City Hotel (Derry) (2024-11-08 – 2025-01-01)

Maintained a high level of customer service whilst serving food and drink to customers.

• Communication – communicating clearly with customers when taking food orders was essential to maintain a high level of customer service
• Teamwork – working with a different group of colleagues each week taught to adapt to surroundings and encouraged to work well with all team members to clear the dining room effectively
• Time management – team was given time frames in which food needed to be served and cleared, which certainly improved time management skills
• Resilience – dealing with customer complaints taught to be resilient and composed when dealing with unhappy customers

General Assistant at Xtreme Bounce (2024-03-15 – 2024-11-08)

Operated the till, took food orders and event bookings, served customers, hosted parties and ensured safety instructions were followed.

• Communication – clear communication was necessary whilst supervising the inflatables to ensure safety instructions were followed
• Teamwork – although hosted parties individually, often assisted colleagues with setting the table for large parties whenever they needed the help
• Time management – parties were allocated for hourly slots; therefore, had to be effective in completing all tasks within this time frame
• Resilience – dealing with customer complaints improved tolerance to stressful situations
