A dedicated Health & Safety specialist with experience in Manufacturing, Facilities Management, and Corporate safety at both a local & global scale, specialising in developing, implementing, and maintaining occupational health & safety management systems to ISO 45001 & ISO 45003 standards.

Experience

February 2023 – Present: Health & Safety Lead, Checkout Technology Ltd. via Pareto FM

Primarily providing consultation on global health and safety compliance for one Pareto FM's largest clients, while also supporting the internal health & safety function.

Develop & maintain global compliance audit processes, ensuring legal standards are being met in all locations.
Design & implementation of policies & processes at both a local & global scale, including a global health & safety policy & a DSE risk management system.
Develop & oversee delivery of global health & safety training programs for core industry risks, including DSE, manual handling, and stress management.
Manage global disaster recovery plan in relation to physical business continuity threats such as fire, typhoon, and active shooter scenarios.
Review subcontractor RAMS as part of regular planned preventative maintenance & reactive tasks.
Issue permits to work where required, managing overall permit to work lifecycle for required tasks.
Undertake annual fire risk assessment of local offices, and consult on activities where fire risk is present.
Conduct audits in line with ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 standards at other Pareto FM client sites, developing corrective action plans with Account Managers & relevant stakeholders where necessary.
Manage mobilisation process of new accounts from a health & safety perspective, ensuring all necessary processes & documents are in place prior to contract start date.
Oversee the effective & continued implementation of the OH&S Management System, in line with the company ISO 45001 & ISO 9001 standard.
Develop general risk assessments for company activities, and RAMS, point of works assessments, and toolbox talks for site-specific tasks.
Oversee company mental health & wellbeing program, working with HR to develop policies & initiatives that improve & maintain positive mental wellbeing for employees.
