Currently I am completing my PhD in Medical Sciences and I am seeking part-time employment to support me with my studies. I am a hardworking team-player and have years of experience working in hospitality and customer facing roles.

February 2016 – September 2016: Santander Retail Contact Centre - Belfast - Select Agent

• Working in a fast paced and busy call centre, meeting and servicing the needs of Santander Select customers.
• Operating complex systems to meet customer’s account servicing needs.
• Working to targets such as handling time, ownership, schedule adherence and referrals.
• Collaborating with a large team within Select and across other banking departments.
• Developed my ability to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team in a demanding environment.

• Managing the finance of the restaurant, balancing takings, expenditure and monitoring labour costs.

• Developed an online resource for the pharmacokinetics aspect of the BSc Pharmacology degree as well as the MSc Clinical Pharmacology programme.
• Developed a resource allows for effective contextualised learning in pharmacokinetic teaching.
• Demonstrated an independent working ability, designed case studies and applied relevant data into Questionmark Perception software to enhance learning of this traditionally difficult topic.
• Reinforced my time management and organisational skills and demonstrates my reliability in meeting commitments and deadlines.

Thesis title: “Preventing Aspergillus-induced inflammation in cystic fibrosis to reduce airway disease.” Supervisors: Professors Adilia Warris, Professor Heather M Wilson and Dr Darius Armstrong-James.

2017-2018: MRes Medical Mycology and Fungal Immunology - University of Aberdeen - Distinction

Thesis titles: “Candida parapsilosis induced platelet aggregation by αIIbβ3 as an anti-fungal immune response” and “The role of FPR2/ALX in phagocytosis of Candida albicans and the resolution of inflammation.”

Courses included: Medical Mycology and Fungal Immunology, Statistics, Bioinformatics and Microbiology.
