• Punch listing and commissioning of the Cold Ends Section of the plant
• Based at Braefoot Bay Marine Terminal for two years learning and operating ship loading post, field technician post and control room using TDC 2000 & PMX multi-screen consoles
• Transferred back to Mossmorran to learn Sulphinol and Feed Treatment, Furnaces, Refrigeration, Boilers & Demin Water, Fractionation, Quench and Compression, Waste Water and the Furnace Console
• Field sampling of various process streams and laboratory analysis work
• Worked 4 days on, 4 days off, 12 hour shifts for 24 weeks, then 39 hour week for 6 weeks in the maintenance department
