Training Programme Participant - Doocey Group - Tipton
Developed knowledge of using a CAT and Genny cable avoidance tool to locate underground pipes and utility cables safely on construction sites. Gained this experience during a three-week training programme with Doocey, developing an understanding of safe working practices and site preparation procedures.
Work Experience Assistant - Mr Tyres
Completed work experience at Mr Tyres, assisting with tyre fitting and vehicle maintenance tasks. Removed worn tyres and fitted replacement tyres, gaining practical experience in tyre changing procedures, customer service, and safe workshop practices.
Carried out conservation and grounds maintenance tasks, including clearing pathways, cutting back bushes, sweeping leaves and debris, and digging. Developed practical outdoor working skills, teamwork, and an understanding of maintaining safe and accessible public spaces.
