I bring over four years professional chef experience, where I gained valuable knowledge of how to work effectively under pressure, as well as two years commercial business experience where I was required to make executive level decsions regarding finances and growth.

I am a versatile professional with a diverse background in business and the culinary arts. Recently completing a personal sabbatical to achieve personal milestones, including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and completing an advanced editorial writing course withCurtis Brown. During this time I also interned with home economist and cookbook writer Justine Pattinson, contributing to recipe development for Asda magazine and recipe testing for a cookbook.
Prior to this, I successfully structured and negotiated the sale of a family business during challenging economic conditions, gaining valuable expertise in business strategy, financial forecasting, and stakeholder management. With a strong culinary background, I have held roles ranging from Chef De Partie to Junior Sous Chef at renowned establishments like Michelin-starred Barrafina, honing leadership, event management, and specialist cooking skills. Additionally, I have contributed to meaningful initiatives, such as launching Imad’s Syrian Kitchen and volunteering as a community chef during the pandemic to provide meals to vulnerable communities.
