• Working remotely, ability to manage my own schedule. 
• Online Moderator for the CBBC website, moderating content to keep children safe online. Screening comments for jigsaw information and personally identifiable information, checking through media uploads for sensitive or inappropriate content, flagging and escalating content where the safety of the child is in question. 
• Online Moderator for Lidl UK. Checking through comments and posts and responding to customer queries via Lidl's social media platforms; Facebook and Twitter at the time.
• Keeping up to date with current affairs and online slang/terminology to moderate accordingly.

• Gaining a broad understanding of the different approaches to moderation. 
• Learning about what kinds of content are problematic and why, including jigsaw information, libellous material and personally identifiable information. 
• Completing this course allowed me to enter into a job as a Moderator knowing with confidence that I had a grounded understanding of the work and just why it is so important.
