I am a fluent speaker in Polish and English and in my spare time work as an interpreter mainly in the healthcare unit. I typically listen and translate during consultations making sure the polish speaking patient fully understands. This role has strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills. Allowing me to help resolve queries and build trust with customers.
Volunteering work at Salvation army
When I was 17 years old I volunteered at my local Salvation army giving back to the community by being part of a small team sorting through donations and assisting elderly customers. A great role which brought me a lot of joy just being friendly and listening to some truly unforgettable stories. This experience taught me a lot about teamwork, patience and empathy. It made me value and understand building positive relationships with customers.
