During my time as a law student at the University of Essex, I had the privilege of joining the Essex Law Clinic, where I actively engaged in assisting clients facing homelessness. In this role, I provided legal support to individuals experiencing housing issues, including conducting intake interviews, researching relevant housing laws, and preparing legal documents such as eviction notices and tenancy agreements.

One significant accomplishment during my tenure was successfully representing a homeless client in a housing court, leading to a favorable ruling that secured stable housing for them. Additionally, I collaborated with a team of dedicated law students to organize outreach programs aimed at raising awareness about housing rights and providing resources to the local homeless community.

Through my involvement in the Essex Law Clinic, I not only developed practical legal skills but also cultivated a deep sense of social responsibility and empathy for those in need. I hold a degree in software development and am currently a 2nd-year law student at the University of Essex. My professional journey has taken me through various industries, including experience in a car company in Sierra Leone, where I learned valuable organizational skills, followed by a role in telecommunications that honed my communication abilities. Additionally, I have experience in the fast-paced restaurant industry, where I developed strong customer service and teamwork skills.
