I am a dedicated and hard-working student currently studying towards a degree in Economics and Business at Swansea University. Throughout my education I have had several part-time jobs including working as a waitress at Petersham Nurseries and Stone pizza, shop assistant at both the United Colors of Benetton and Princess Alice Hospice and finally an assistant tennis coach at my local tennis club. These jobs have really improved my resilience, team-working abilities and leadership skills. During secondary school I completed all three Duke of Edinburgh awards which I believe was one of the toughest things I have had to do due to not only the walk but also all of the volunteering and skills you had to do on the side. Whilst I was in year ten I decided to complete a weeks worth of work experience at Investec bank in London which was extremely eye opening and allowed me to experience what a real work environment is like. During this time I shadowed many different employees including the HR department and sat it several meetings.
I have had several part time jobs inbetween my studies including two waitressing/moxologist jobs at Petersham Nurseries and Stone Pizza, a job as a shop assistant at United colors of Bennetton, I volunteered at Princess Alice Hospice and finally I was an assistat tennis coach for several years.
I am currently in my third year of studying Economics and Business at Swansea University, on track for a 2:1. I have an A in A-level psychology, B in Economics, and C in Maths, and passed my maths and english GCSE's with a 6 in both.
